Working together with officers and employees who are committed to realizing our corporate philosophy, we will sustainably enhance our value on the global stage.

At Monex Group, we as executives and employees are committed to not only the sustainable growth of the Group, but also to our corporate philosophy of “enabling individuals to realize personal fulfillment and optimize their lifetime balance sheets” by paving the way that is one step ahead of the future.

In our securities business where we first started, we designed new ways to deal with money in the new era and provided services to support individuals' investment and economic activities. With the revision of our corporate philosophy in 2021, our goal now is to optimize each person’s lifetime balance sheet through businesses and services that enable individual self-fulfillment, including non-monetary and non-financial self-fulfillment.

As technology evolves at a dizzying pace, our future as individuals is changing dramatically. To grow and thrive, it is essential for all of us to embrace technology, imagine the future of humankind and create businesses that will be needed in that future.

Since our founding, Monex Group has been committed to creating a corporate climate and culture that respects the voices, diverse ideas and personalities of all executives and employees regardless of nationality, gender, age or position. We believe this is the foundation for innovation. Every year, we select the best innovative services and initiatives in an internal award system called the "IDEI AWARD," helping to create a corporate culture that encourages people to take on challenges.

We are also committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in our human resource development efforts, and we emphasize the capabilities of our employees and promote them accordingly. Because the sole evaluation criterion is contribution to corporate value regardless of gender, age, or nationality, the number of female and non-Japanese employees, as well as younger managers, has been increasing. Furthermore, at our major group companies based in Japan, we have an environment where both male and female employees can easily take parental leave, resulting in an average of three to four months of parental leave for men.

In today's rapidly changing and complex business environment, we believe that a corporate culture that actively embraces different perspectives is essential for driving innovation and strengthening organizations to face various challenges. DEI will continue to promote this as a top priority.

External ESG evaluation organizations have highly assessed our sustainability-conscious information disclosure, a focused effort since 2018. As a result, we have been selected for inclusion in six of the ESG investment indices for Japanese equities used by the GPIF. Working together with people who are committed to realizing our corporate philosophy, we will sustainably enhance our value on the global stage.
