ART IN THE OFFICE 2015

Monex Group, Inc. started the "ART IN THE OFFICE" program in 2008 as part of its social and cultural activities with an aim to support emerging contemporary artists and currently Monex, Inc. is sponsoring the program from 2010. The program seeks applications from artists of works to install on the wall of the press conference room within Monex's headquarters. The winner is also given a cash award and production fee. The program is run in cooperation with the nonprofit art organization, Arts Initiative Tokyo.

Masahiro Hasunuma Profile
Born 1981, Tokyo(Japan). Graduated Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School (Ph.D.) in 2010.With an interest in old tales and dreams, creates works of various media such as painting, hand-drawn animated work, and photography. Have exhibited at Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, KINARE in summer 2014 "Every Place is the Heart of the World 1/100,000 Tsumari" (Niigata), and the Shinano Primitive Sense Art Festival 2014 (Nagano). Will be showing new works at Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in July, 2015.
