About the Group

Monex's Principles - Monex Logo

The origins of the Monex Group date back to 1999 when Monex, Inc. was established. Monex Inc., which represents the grass roots of the Group, has been pioneering various services for customers well ahead of the numerous other online brokerage firms.

The brand symbol is a human figure standing firmly on the ground, the arms creating a large circle. This symbol represents "a network of money with people as the central player." Monex, Inc., as a specialized online brokerage firm, chose the "human" motif to show our commitment to being a company that walks hand-in-hand and grows in tune with our customers.

The Monex Group chose to keep the symbol used since Monex, Inc. was established in respect of its "pioneering spirit." Only the theme color was changed-from black to blue to imply the sky and the global arena-to update the original symbol into a brand symbol more fitting of today's Monex Group. The new symbol debuted in July 2008.
